Hello, I'm Tim Andrews and I want to share with you my Tarot fansite dedicated to the distinctive talents of Maralee
Fox-Heins. I'm a veteran Tarot reader, having read professionally since 1985, and out of the 300+ Tarot decks I own,
Maralee's are the only ones I use to read with. Before she came along, I would only read with Rider Waite.
Maralee's the gifted genius who created the Lady Eclipse Tarot (my other primary reading deck), the Soul Reflections
Tarot Collector's Edition (my primary reading deck), the Soul Reflections Tarot (being published), the Catch a Falling Star
Tarot (waiting to be able to buy it), the C. C. Deck (waiting for its publication), the online Austin Powers Tarot (I'm among
a large group petitioning New Line to get it published but you can get a reading with this very clever deck online now
at Maralee's new site), the When I Grow Up Oracle (just completed), the Down Under Tarot (completed), the Stepping Out Tarot
(being published), the Soul Repair Deck (being published), and the Wish Upon A Star Deck (being published). There are other decks she's
working on like the Get-A-Head Tarot (being published), the Retro Cats Tarot (being published), the Retro Groove Tarot (being
published), the Celebrity Tarot (being published), the Police Academy Tarot, the Tarot of Wars, the Wired Up Tarot,
and many more that are listed on her website. She's also getting several books published, one is about spells and
spellcasting called You Can Do Magick, a tarot combination book named Tarot Combination Adventures, another one is about
Soul Patterns: The Secret to Unlocking Your Destiny, and another book about tarot spreads titled: The Ultimate Tarot
Spread Guide. I've included a link to this book below.
Maralee uses a variety of mediums to create her decks. Some people like to call this collage. I read on a website some
time ago where someone was talking about collage decks and said "Those who can't, collage." While this statement may
be true in almost all cases, it's definitely not an accurate one when referring to Maralee Fox-Heins. Take a peek at her gallery
and you'll see she can draw and paint very well. Some of the artwork was created on fabric, a very hard medium to work with.
She also won top awards with these designs and also does custom-made work such as her powerful Soul Pattern paintings. I've
included a link to her gallery below.
Maralee is obviously very artistic but there's a lot more to her decks than just another pretty face. She makes genuine
self-help, tarot reading, and divination decks, not art decks. Art decks tend to use lots of random images that the creator
thought looked good. I know the Tarot and I'm unable to see any logical reasoning or depth behind the use of these
images other than the artist thought they would be appealing. Maralee's decks are also very pleasing to the eye but the
big difference between her decks and the art decks is hers are so much more than just eye candy. She's been reading the
Tarot since 1973 . . . that's a lot of experience, and you can tell just by looking at her decks that she knows
exactly what she's doing. Every image used has a distinctive purpose for telling the user about the card being read on so
many levels. She even manages to avoid the dreaded copycat clone deck syndrome that so many others get caught up
in when making tarot decks. Maralee's decks are intelligent, groundbreaking, original ideas with real working symbology that
takes the Tarot reading experience to a brand new level of depth, revelation, and insight . . . it's not at all surprising
she has taken the tarot community by storm causing quite a stir of professional jealousy. It woudn't surprise
me if at least one or more of her illuminating decks eventually becomes the new industry standard.
Below you'll find links to Maralee's sites, reviews of her decks, banners, and many fansites.
